Analysis of Gaps Yield and Resource use Efficiency of Cold-Region Japonica Rice

Abstract Rice is the primary staple food for more than 50% of world’s population. Narrowing gap between maximum potential crop yield and actual critical improving current yield, resource use efficiency, global security. Here, we examined fertilizer efficiency (FUE), radiation (RUE), temperature production (TPE) four management treatments (super high [SH], [HH], farmer level [FP], basic [CK]). SH HH significantly reduced by 22.4 9.5%, respectively. The large FP was mainly attributed to specific leaf weight at jointing stage (7.5–7.7 mg·cm −2 ), area maintained during tillering–jointing stages (35.4–37.6 m 2 ·m ·per day). Compared with FP, increased in heading (8.2–8.4 relative growth rate, net assimilation rate (NAR), mean index (> 2.6). Moreover, compared partial factor productivity (PFP) nitrogen, FUE, TPE, RUE owing greater NAR after full stage. Although 93.32% that SH, PFP (12.5%), nitrogen (9.07%), K O (36.34%), required 26% less SH. findings this study could facilitate high-efficiency rice bridging gaps.
